- Process customs declarations for exports and imports, including commodity codes, on our customs platform in a timely manner.
- Maintain internal controls to guarantee compliance with customs regulations.
- Identify and report any non-compliance issues to the Import Export Manager for remedial action.
- Manage records, reports, and resolutions for customs import/export entry declarations.
- Research and resolve customs-related import and export inquiries as requested.
- Assist with transit arrivals/departures and safety/security declarations.
- Maintain records to satisfy HMRC and Revenue Ireland requirements and assist the Import Export Manager with internal audits.
- Be a point of contact for parcel handlers and customer service colleagues to ensure international shipments are coordinated effectively.
- Experience with import/export customs formalities is highly desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work accurately with a keen eye for detail.
- Can carry out repetitive data entry tasks and remain motivated.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach towards shift patterns to work between Twilight and PM shifts as required.
- Can-do attitude.
- Able to work independently and highlight errors to colleagues/Manager.
- Responsible and dedicated attitude to work.
- Checkable work history.
- Looking to achieve a qualification in Customs/International Trade.
