The successful candidate will provide administrative support, including maintaining good IT skills and recording patient admissions, transfers, and discharges on PAS & Nervecentre.

To undertake reception duties for multi-disciplinary teams, including answering the telephone and relaying messages to clinical staff.

To undertake general office administration duties, including filing, using Mediviewer to retrieve medical notes and information, scanning, and handling post.

Excellent communication skills and awareness of confidentiality.

Booking patient transport.

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide a reception service, acting as the first point of contact on the telephone or face-to-face, for patients, visitors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • To facilitate good communication with other wards and departments involved in patient care or ward/departmental functioning.
  • To input data regarding all admissions, transfers, and discharges onto Patient Administration System.
  • To provide an efficient administration and clerical service to ward staff, visitors, and patients.
