Job Requirements

To succeed as a Support Coordinator with Creative Support, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Health and Social Care or Psychology

As a Support Coordinator, you will be required to work in a flexible manner, which may include working days, evenings, weekends, waking nights, and sleepovers. You will also be required to participate in the management of service delivery, including developing and implementing care plans, monitoring client progress, and making adjustments as needed.

In addition to your professional experience and skills, you will need to possess a commitment to delivering high-quality support services, with a focus on promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for all clients. You will also need to be able to demonstrate unconditional regard for the people we support, recognizing their individuality and worth.
