Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver care for families, children, and communities in partnership with team members and service users.
  • Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans, using appropriate assessment and risk assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure a seamless delivery of services for children and families within the community.
  • Support breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships, applying Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Health Visitor role within the last 3 years.
  • NMC Professional Registration and current knowledge of Health Visitor practices.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse roles require evidence of NMC Registration and Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
  • A car and valid UK driving license.
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Health Visitor environment within the last 2 years.

Salary Range

£30,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
