About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Community Intervention Coordinator to join our team at the Grafham Water Center. This role will involve working closely with our Youth Justice Service to deliver evidence-based interventions and programs to support children and young people who are at risk of offending or have offended.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions and programs to support children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with key partner agencies to ensure effective support and guidance for families and individuals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on community intervention practices and policies.
  • Safeguard the well-being of children and young people by ensuring accurate and timely recording of information on the YJ database.

Requirements:

  • A level 6 professional qualification in social work or probation, or a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g., psychology, criminology).
  • Substantial experience in community intervention and youth justice, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
