Senior Operations Specialist for Biogas Assets

In your role, you will oversee the maintenance and performance of biogas assets within your designated area. You will serve as a technical point of contact with gas suppliers and customers, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements. To achieve this, you will work closely with competent personnel to maintain installations in good condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining sites/equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Supporting contractors on site to deliver interventions safely using permits and LOTO procedures
  • Implementing and enforcing regulatory safety guidelines across all sites
  • Raising awareness of potential hazards and supporting incident analysis
  • Reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) documents
  • Coordinating site emergency procedures, including waste management and COSHH documentation
  • Developing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures for Works and risk assessments
  • Documenting interventions with detailed reports
  • Updating equipment and installation documentation according to MOCs issued
  • Performing routine checks and managing on-site inventory control
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferably Complex
  • UK Driving license
  • Knowledge of gas (CNG, Biogas)
  • Instrumentation and gas analysis expertise
  • P&FD, P&ID, electrical diagrams, and functional analysis knowledge
  • Technical writing skills and experience with procedures
  • Safety and risk assessment management
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Location: Various locations throughout the UK. We offer a competitive salary package and opportunities for career growth within the Biogas Community team.
