The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced chef to join our kitchen team at the University of Edinburgh Hotels collection. As a key member of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career in a world-class organization.

Our hotel collection comprises four hotels, with kitchens at three of the properties. You will be based at either The Scott Hotel or The Scholar Hotel, both of which offer a great, fresh food experience. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality food to our guests, ensuring exceptional standards and attention to detail.

Your Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven kitchen experience in a hospitality setting.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable standards and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality food to the highest standards.
