Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as part of our Children & Young People's Continuing Care Team, supporting children with complex medical needs. You will provide high-quality care, working closely with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement care plans as directed by Primary Care Registered Nurses, reporting back to them as agreed.
  • Carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision, demonstrating simple procedures to qualified and/or unqualified staff when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for children with complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain clinical competence and skills through competency-based training programs.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nursing Associate or Assistant Practitioner qualification.
  • Evidence of literacy/numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment with complex care needs children.
