Gray Healthcare is a leading provider of mental health support services in the Crewe area. We are currently seeking an experienced Driver Mental Health Support Professional to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled individual to support a gentleman in his 30's who has a diagnosis of Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Epilepsy. The successful candidate will provide 2:1 support 24 hours a day, enabling the individual to live independently in their own home.

About the Role:

This role requires a driver with experience providing encouragement to individuals with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities. You will also need to have skills and experience in supporting individuals with challenging behaviors and implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 2:1 support 24 hours a day to enable the individual to live independently
  • Driving a mobility vehicle to access the community
  • Supporting the individual with daily activities and personal care
  • Implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments
  • Managing challenging behaviors

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Right to Work in the UK

Salary and Benefits:
