Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to lead our occupational health and environmental management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of safety and well-being among our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate occupational health and environmental hazards.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on health and safety matters, including training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Requirements
  • RQF Level 5 or higher qualification in a science, engineering, or technical subject.
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing health and safety advice and support to an organisation, including development and implementation of effective risk management policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
