Roke is seeking a skilled Safety and Compliance Professional to join their team in Woking or Gloucester. This hybrid role involves working two days at the base location and one day at the Romsey site.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience.

You will be responsible for promoting a sustainable and resilient future by providing expert advice, guidance, and support to Roke employees on various HSE matters.

As a key member of the HSE team, you will contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and help foster a positive culture that emphasizes all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice, guidance, and support to Roke employees on various HSE matters.
  • Supporting the objectives of Roke's HSE management systems and strategies.
  • Conducting internal audits of HSE management systems.
  • Delivering comprehensive Health and Safety inductions to new employees.
  • Collaborating in HSE meetings, working groups, steering committees, and other forums to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you should have a NEBOSH HSE certificate (essential or working towards) and proficiency in functional HSE management systems.
