Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the day-to-day health, safety, and environmental (HSE) function at McLaren Applied, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations.

This role involves managing all aspects of HSE within the company, including risk assessments, safe working practices, and the implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE management, with experience in the application of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.

In terms of salary, we estimate an annual salary of £55,000-£65,000 for this position, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's HSE strategy and policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with facilities management to maintain safe and efficient working conditions.
  • Provide HSE training and support to employees at all levels.
  • Develop and implement procedures for reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in H&S Management.
  • Experience in the application of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
