Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at The Owl Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to deliver assessment and therapy services to children in local schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to local schools to assess and provide therapy services to multiple children throughout the day.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and communication difficulties, using observation and testing techniques.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, working closely with other healthcare professionals.
  • Liaise with schools, parents, and our team regarding findings and progress made with each child.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports, ensuring timely uploads to relevant systems.
Requirements
  • Accredited Speech and Language Therapy degree
  • HCPC registration
  • At least 1 year's experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (post-competency)
  • Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 full school day available to work each week, enabling them to spend a full day in one school, minimising travel time while maximising earnings
  • Ability to travel for appointments
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000, depending on experience and location.
