Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) Opportunity in Oxford

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a highly-specialist therapist, you will work closely with children and young people with craniofacial conditions, providing specialist information, assessment, and advice.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supra-regional service for craniofacial surgery, working collaboratively with families, local services, and multidisciplinary teams. You will have the chance to contribute to national initiatives and multi-centre projects/research.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience as a Speech and Language Therapist, with expertise in paediatric therapy, eating and drinking, communication skills, and evidence-based practice. In this role, you will demonstrate a well-developed knowledge of paediatric therapy, adapt your practice to meet individual patient needs, provide mentoring to junior therapists, and maintain accurate case notes. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to liaise effectively with patients, carers, families, and other professionals.
