The Owl Centre is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a specialist in communication development, you will be responsible for delivering assessment and therapy services to children in local schools.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced therapist with a strong background in speech and language pathology. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify speech/communication difficulties in children.
- Developing and implementing tailored therapeutic interventions in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Liaising with schools, parents, and The Owl Centre team to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
- Maintaining accurate case notes and reports in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An accredited Speech and Language Therapy degree.
- HCPC registration.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (post-competency).
- Ability to travel for appointments.
- Ideally, a full school day available to work each week, enabling you to focus on one school and see multiple children.
With a salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to grow their career while making a positive impact on children's lives.
