About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing specialist support to children with speech and language difficulties in local schools. As a Freelance Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality assessment and therapy services, making a real difference in the lives of these young individuals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and therapy services to children in local schools, using your expertise to identify and address speech and language difficulties.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Liaise with schools, parents, and our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of case notes and reports, uploading them to relevant systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold an accredited Speech and Language Therapy degree
  • Be registered with the HCPC
  • Have at least 1 year's experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (post-competency)
  • Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 full school day available to work each week, allowing them to focus on their work in a single school setting
  • Must be able to travel for appointments
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £65,000, dependent on experience and location.
