Freelance Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Freelance Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at The Owl Centre. As a key member of our service, you will work closely with schools, parents, and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment and therapy services to children in their local area.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services to children in local schools
  • Liaise with schools, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions in collaboration with other professionals
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • An accredited Speech and Language Therapy degree
  • HCPC registration
  • At least one year's experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (post-competency)
  • Able to travel for appointments

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Working Arrangements:

This freelance position requires you to work on a flexible schedule, with a minimum of one full school day available per week. This will enable you to spend a full day in one school, seeing multiple children and minimizing your travel time while maximizing your earnings.
