As an Emotional Well-being Educator at Academics, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in High Wycombe.

The estimated salary range for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote student well-being, working closely with teachers and other support staff to achieve this goal. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies to promote student well-being: You will work with students who require additional support due to mental health challenges, helping them develop calm and regulated moods, enabling them to access their learning and development.
  • Assisting with self-regulation activities: You will help students develop skills to manage their emotions, leading to improved behavior and academic performance.
  • Safeguarding: You will be aware of and adhere to safeguarding processes within the school, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
