About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Allied and Clinical Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges on their journey towards recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with mental health conditions in a residential or community setting.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support clients in developing coping skills, managing symptoms, and achieving their recovery goals.
  • Foster a therapeutic and supportive environment conducive to the well-being and safety of clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy for clients to enhance their quality of life and independence.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a mental health support role is required.
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and recovery principles is preferred.
  • Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
