Job Summary:

Aldi UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager in the management of the store, including the supervision of staff, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly and efficiently, including stock management, ordering, and delivery.
  • Team Management: Motivate and develop a diverse and talented team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Performance: Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets, minimize costs, and optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of success in store operations and team management.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £35,625 - £43,440* per annum, plus a London allowance of £2,900.
  • Flexible Working Hours: 40 or 45-hour contracts, with flexible working hours to suit your needs.
  • Annual Leave: 4 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays, rising to 5 weeks after 2 years.
