About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Group HR Advisor to join our small but busy HR team at Kinovo Plc. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Group HR Manager and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement effective performance management strategies to drive employee engagement and productivity.
  • Disciplinaries: Provide guidance and support on disciplinary procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law.
  • Appraisals: Conduct regular appraisals to assess employee performance, identify areas for development, and create personalized development plans.
  • Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Staff Development Training: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, promoting career growth and development.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, providing support and guidance to employees and managers alike.
  • Employee Well-being: Coordinate employee well-being initiatives, promoting a healthy and supportive work environment.
  • Social Value: Participate in social value activities, including attendance at recruitment fairs and community events.
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 5 Qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Previous operational HR experience, preferably in the building services or construction sector.
  • A full driving license and own transport, as travel between offices will be required.
  • ER knowledge and practical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle complex and difficult situations with confidence.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft and respond in writing, ensuring legal compliance and minimizing exposure to potential tribunal situations.
  • Personable, confidential, and discreet, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in effective questioning techniques to understand individual issues or circumstances of complaint/concern.
  • Ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to situations and problems as they arise.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize work.
  • Accurate and excellent attention to detail.
