Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Assistant to join our team. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front of house, and working closely with our optometrists to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering their queries and addressing their concerns
• Manage front of house, including greeting patients, handling phone calls, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area
• Work closely with our optometrists to ensure a seamless patient experience, including preparing patients for eye exams and assisting with dispensing
• Assist with the sale of optical products, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and sales
• Contribute to the overall success of the practice by participating in team meetings and suggesting ideas for improvement

Requirements:

• Experience working as an Optical Assistant in an independent practice
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Availability to work a full-time schedule, including Saturdays
