Our client is a well-established, leading Social Housing Contractor and due to continued growth is currently recruiting an Estimator for a permanent role.
Our client undertakes repairs, maintenance and planned works for Local Authority and Housing Associations, working to either Framework Agreements or Long-Term Contracts, under the NHF \ NSR schedule of rates. These contracts cover reactive, refurbishment, retrofit and M&E works to both housing and commercial stock.
The business has continued to flourish over recent years and this new role is a great chance to be part of its exciting future.
The Role:
1. Estimating social housing maintenance and repairs contracts up to the value of 10million.
2. Taking responsibility of preparing and submitting tenders and associated documentation
3. Attending pre-tender sites visits to identify site-specific risks, to ensure bids are risk and value managed.
4. Attending both internal and external stakeholder tender strategy meetings
5. Being a key contributor to the success of the business.
6. Working closely with the Regional Managers and the Contract Management team you will be a key influencer in decision making.
7. Developing relationships with colleagues and acting as a mentor to develop their skills in support of growth targets.
8. You will have profit and loss decision making responsibilities and be involved in shaping not only the future of this contract, but the business’ wider growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Implementing process for contract performance and strategic growth.
2. Reporting and analysing on contract performance – Contract KPIs and Business performance targets.
3. Leading the delivery team including supply chain partners.
4. P&L budgeting, implementation and performance.
Essential:
1. Knowledge of NHF \ NSR Schedule of Rates
2. Full Driving Licence (company car or car allowance)
