About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our growing Data team in Manchester. This is a great opportunity to lead the development and deployment of robust data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, with experience working with large data sets in a commercial sector. You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying data pipelines, as well as mentoring the team to upskill and improve data processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing and deploying data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to upskill the team.
  • Implementing best practices for data modelling, storage and retrieval.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive adoption of data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously improving data processes as new technology is implemented.

About the Salary

The salary for this role is estimated at £75,000 + Competitive benefits package.
