Lead Data Engineer
We are recruiting an experienced Lead Data Engineer for our growing eCommerce business in the North West.
- Design and deploy robust data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor team members to upskill their skills.
- Implement best practices for data modelling, storage and retrieval to ensure scalability, reliability and performance of business data infrastructure.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making.

About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying robust data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
- They will provide technical leadership and mentoring to upskill the team, allowing the Head of Data and Analytics to focus on strategic management.
- They will implement best practices for data modelling, storage and retrieval to ensure scalability, reliability and performance of business data infrastructure.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer utilizing tools such as Snowflake and DBT.
- Experience working with large data sets within a commercial sector.
- An inquisitive nature and creative problem-solving skills.
Compensation:
£75,000 per annum + Competitive benefits package.
