Senior Data Engineer Position

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Data Engineer to lead our Data Engineering team at Manchester Digital.

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members to enhance their skills.
  • Implement best practices for data modelling, storage and retrieval to guarantee efficient data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive data-driven decision-making.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will design, develop and deploy robust data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT.
  • They will provide technical leadership and mentorship to upskill the team, allowing the Head of Data and Analytics to focus on strategic initiatives.
  • They will implement best practices for data modelling, storage and retrieval to ensure reliable and high-performing data infrastructure.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer utilizing tools such as Snowflake and DBT.
  • Experience working with large data sets within a commercial sector.
  • An inquisitive nature and creative problem-solving skills.

Salary and Benefits:

£75,000 per annum + Excellent benefits package.
