At SGS, we are seeking a highly skilled National Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our Business Assurance division, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and securing new partnerships.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to take on a national role, covering Northern Ireland and Ireland, with the requirement to train or attend meetings in Mainland UK.

  • Salary: Up to £38,000 Basic DOE (dependent on experience)
  • Location: Based in Belfast, with flexibility to work from home
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, days only
  • Bonus: Up to 20% sales bonus
  • Car: Company vehicle provided
About the Job Description

As a National Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling SGS services related to audit, certification, and accreditation. You will secure new clients and upsell existing ones by creating compelling business cases and using various methods such as calling, emailing, and attending business events.

Key Duties:
  • To sell SGS services related to audit, certification, and accreditation services
  • To Secure new clients and upselling existing clients
  • To create compelling business cases to encourage customers to place work with SGS
  • Using a variety of methods such as calling, emails, attending business events to generate new business
  • Generate New Business Revenue, meeting strategic and budgetary goals
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues promoting SGS services, across businesses and service
  • UK Travel required for meetings / events
Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience within a Technical B2B sales environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background with a focus on Auditing services or engineering/consultative services. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication skills, be able to present effectively, and have a history of closing sales.

  • Proven experience within a Technical B2B sales environment
  • Full driving license for use in the UK
  • Strong sales background with a focus Auditing services or engineering/consultative services
  • Meeting with customers and presenting effectively with a history of closing sales
  • Qualified within sales / Project Management
