Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team in East Lancashire. This role involves providing life-changing support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries or mental health conditions.

As a Care Support Specialist, you will work closely with individuals to promote their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will be responsible for supporting daily living tasks, encouraging social participation, and facilitating access to community resources.
Key Responsibilities- Providing individualized support to enable people to live independently
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
- Encouraging social participation through activities and events
- Facilitating access to community resources and services
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A passion for working with people with learning disabilities, autism, or other complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexibly, including weekends and varied shift patterns
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
