Recovery Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Recovery Worker. As a key member of our Roper Street service, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.
Our service operates within a recovery model, providing a range of support services to access in their local community, including outreach support, peer support, and supported housing. We're committed to inspiring recovery nationwide and believe that with the right support, everyone can achieve their goals and aspirations.
As a Recovery Worker, you'll work closely with service users to develop personal support plans that address their unique needs and goals. This may involve developing domestic and finance management skills, accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities, or simply providing a listening ear and a supportive presence.
No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. However, we welcome candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience. What's most important is your caring and compassionate nature, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping others.
