Job Title: Strategic Commercial Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to manage all commercial activity and be part of the wider leadership function. You will develop integrated market strategies for complex categories, establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and manage the contract life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop market strategies for medium-high spend categories with significant business impact.
  2. Establish a collaborative way of working with stakeholders to support the successful transition of integrated market strategies.
  3. Manage the contract life cycle in accordance with the contract.
  4. Recognized for expert market knowledge.
  5. Contribute to the development of the category management team to maximize value for the organization.
  6. Ensure cost transparency and submit information in required formats.
Requirements:
  1. A team player with good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  2. Effective commercial and contract management skills with clear knowledge of best practice contract methodologies.
  3. Supplier management experience.
  4. Able to demonstrate a considerable track record of administering successful contracts.
  5. Highly developed commercial skills and ability to make sound decisions on matters of significant financial value.
  6. Good understanding of contract performance measurement, risk management, and change and claim management.
