About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at The Scotsman Group - Central Office. As a key member of our Iona Pub Partnership division, you will be responsible for developing business in the west of Scotland by creating and implementing new business strategies and assisting tenants to maximize their profits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with tenants to drive success and growth
  • Build strong relationships with tenants to facilitate effective business development
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for the area
  • Ensure all units are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Analyze reports to identify key priorities and opportunities within your area and take swift action on any issues arising
  • Create a quarterly business strategy document to drive profit and complete monthly board reports
  • Identify investment opportunities within the area and create investment appraisals for sign-off by the Board of Directors
  • Work closely with credit control to manage debt within the area
  • Ensure tenants are complying with the terms of their lease agreements, including purchasing obligations, maintenance and repair of the property, payment terms, and legislative compliance
Requirements
  • Experience in managing teams within a multi-site capacity with a proven track record of exceeding targets and driving performance through your teams
  • The ability to grow and develop talent, plan effectively, and deliver ambitious financial targets
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with a deep understanding of the hospitality and food and beverage sectors
