Job Summary

The Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Systems Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Strategic Procurement and Governance team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of procurement systems to support the Council's procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain procurement systems to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes
  • Lead the development of strategic procurement systems to improve planning and tracking of procurements
  • Develop and implement system controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Improve the functionality of the e-tendering system to support the strategic procurement process
  • Develop and enhance Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) system functionality to improve the purchase to pay process

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement systems development and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality
  • Experience in change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation
  • Public Sector procurement experience
