Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Systems Specialist

Job Summary:

Croydon Council is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Systems Specialist to join our Strategic Procurement and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and systems that support the delivery of an efficient and effective Procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Develop and maintain the Purchase to Pay (P2P) system and management reporting.
  • Report on procurement, purchasing, and contract management performance across the council.
  • Support the measurement of contract manager performance against agreed performance standards.
  • Manage a contract manager network to aid sharing of issues and examples of good practice.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality.
  • Working knowledge of change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation.
  • Public Sector procurement experience.
