About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Systems Specialist to join our team at Croydon Council. As a key member of our Strategic Procurement and Governance team, you will be responsible for leading on the various systems required for the delivery of an efficient and effective Procurement function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure systems have capacity to capture required procurement and purchasing performance information and can report on this.
  • Develop and continually improve dashboards that capture procurement and purchasing performance information from multiple system sources and allow individual Directorates to review their performance/compliance as well as ability to report at a corporate level.
  • Develop system controls to aid compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Continually improve the functionality of the e-tendering system to support the strategic procurement process.
  • Develop and enhance Oracle Fusion (or equivalent) system functionality to improve the purchase to pay process. This to include the development of supplier self registration and e-invoicing solutions.
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of P2P and strategic procurement systems functionality.
  • Working knowledge of change management and project management within a context of system development and implementation.
  • Public Sector procurement experience.
