About Us: Bruin is a leading player in the insurance and reinsurance broking market. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reinsurance Specialist to contribute to our success in providing exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

LORS System Management:

* Utilize the LORS system for efficient collection/payment of Reinsurance monies with Lloyd's syndicates

Excel Spreadsheet Analysis:

* Conduct detailed analysis and processing of Excel spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and compliance

Policy Entry and Premium Accounting:

* Use in-house systems to create policy entries
* Process premium accounting bordereaux and enter data onto the company's in-house system

Treaty Processing:

* Efficiently handle treaty processing tasks to support the smooth operation of reinsurance agreements

Client Liaison:

* Communicate with clients to ensure prompt payment of premiums and address any inquiries or concerns

Payment Reconciliations:

* Perform reconciliations for premium and claims payments to maintain accurate financial records

Monthly Brokerage Targets:

* Collaborate with the team to ensure monthly brokerage targets are met and contribute to the overall success of the department

Renewal Statistics and Evidences of Cover:

* Prepare renewal statistics to facilitate decision-making processes
* Generate evidences of cover to meet contractual obligations

Conduct and Compliance:

* Support the implementation of good conduct within the business for optimal outcomes for customers and policyholders
* Ensure compliance with PRA and FCA conduct rules

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Reinsurance Technician, preferably in a Lloyd's Broker environment.
* Ideally have an in-depth knowledge of the LORS system (however this is not essential) and proficiency in Excel
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Familiarity with premium accounting and treaty processing
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* PRA and FCA compliance awareness
