About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Client Service Technician to join our expanding Reinsurance Team. As a Reinsurance Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for multi-disciplined technical processing, incorporating premium and claims reinsurance, and providing support to clients and reinsurers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Reinsurance Premium and claims, including proportional and excess of loss premiums and claims
  • Provide technical support to clients and reinsurers on Reinsurance matters
  • Manage priorities and work independently to meet deadlines
  • Participate in client and reinsurer meetings as required
  • Negotiate claims from initial notice through to settlement and closure

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Reinsurance Technician or in a similar role
  • Competency in processing all risks types, proportional, excess of loss premiums and claims
  • Understanding of management concepts, systems, and quality assurance
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and in-depth knowledge of IMR, CLASS, ECF, LORS, and ideally Salesforce and Open TWINS
