As a Reinsurance Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for proactively managing Reinsurance claims within our global Reinsurance portfolio from initial notification through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

* Proactively adjusting standard and complex Reinsurance claims within a set claim authority.
* Developing a thorough understanding of Treaty Reinsurance (Cross Class).
* Monitoring circumstances that may turn into claims, whether in relation to individual risks or global events, such as major Catastrophes or significant losses of interest.
* Ensuring and delivering excellent claims service to all customers, by effectively driving claims through to resolution.
* Communicating proactively with internal and external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
* Making clear, comprehensive, and meaningful notes on the claims management system.
* Identifying cedant audits and reporting back to the RI Claims Manager.

Key Requirements:

* Experience of handling Reinsurance claims, ideally Treaty Property, Treaty Marine or Treaty Casualty claims (Proportional and/or Non-Proportional) within the London market.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
