Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Systems Specialist to join our team at HSB Technical Ltd. The successful candidate will have experience in maintenance, repair, and installation of hydraulic systems, particularly in subsea environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hydraulic equipment, including high-pressure systems and pressure-generating equipment.
  • Installation and Testing: Install, hook-up, function check, and run subsea controls equipment, including Work Over Control Systems, reels, umbilicals, sheaves, pumps, pressure-containing vessels, and flushing units.
  • Modifications and Upgrades: Build and carry out modifications to subsea controls equipment as needed, adhering to industry standards and specifications.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in hydraulic systems maintenance, repair, and installation, especially in subsea environments.
  • Certifications: Offshore survival and medical certification, hydraulic systems certification, and subsea control systems training are desirable.
  • Skills: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with hands-on experience in overhauling hydraulic components.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 + day rate when offshore, commensurate with experience.
