The role of Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist with Blueprint Recruitment Ltd involves working as a key member of the technical team, focusing on electrical maintenance and ensuring high levels of reliability, quality, and safety. About the Role
  • As an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist, you will have experience, ability, and aptitude in electrical maintenance, being a proactive team player with the ability to effectively achieve standards required from a departmental and business perspective.
  • You will drive improvements in controls and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • You will perform technical work tasks requiring moderate to advanced technical experience.
  • You will take initiative to develop additional knowledge of the technical area and begin to train junior technicians/others in basic tasks.
  • You will provide maintenance support to production equipment and processes on a daily basis.
  • You will maintain and improve plant and equipment to achieve high levels of reliability, quality, and safety.
  • You will perform Planned Preventative Maintenance activities to maximise Equipment Efficiency.
  • You will ensure effective use of the maintenance tools and systems, such as work orders, spare part management, maintenance service requests, JSEA and risk assessments.
Requirements:
  • You must be apprenticeship trained or equivalent.
  • You must have an electrical engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent).
  • You must have a minimum of five years relevant experience.
  • You must have experience of Machinery Safety Regulations 2008 / PUWER / CE Marking.
  • You must have good knowledge of general HSE requirements and best working practices.
