The Maintenance Technician - Electrical Engineer role with Blueprint Recruitment Ltd presents an exceptional opportunity to work as part of a dedicated technical team, focused on delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services. In this permanent position, you will contribute to ensuring the reliability, quality, and safety of our production equipment and processes.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will possess experience, ability, and aptitude in electrical maintenance, demonstrating a proactive approach with excellent teamwork skills.
- You will drive improvements in controls and equipment operation.
- Performing technical work tasks that require moderate to advanced technical expertise.
- Taking initiative to expand your knowledge of the technical area and training junior technicians/others in fundamental tasks.
- Providing regular maintenance assistance to production equipment and processes.
- Maintaining and enhancing plant and equipment to meet high standards of reliability, quality, and safety.
- Implementing Planned Preventative Maintenance activities to optimise Equipment Efficiency.
- Effectively utilising maintenance tools and systems, including work orders, spare part management, maintenance service requests, JSEA and risk assessments.
- Apprenticeship-trained or equivalent.
- Educated to HNC level in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years' relevant experience.
- Experienced in Machinery Safety Regulations 2008 / PUWER / CE Marking.
- Familiarity with general HSE requirements and best working practices.
- This role comes with a competitive estimated salary of £52,500 per annum.
