Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment
  • Fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues
  • Planned and preventative maintenance activities
  • Modifications and upgrades to existing equipment

Work Environment

You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas like electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices.

Qualifications and Certifications

Over the course of the apprenticeship, you can expect to achieve industry-recognized qualifications such as a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Performing Engineering Operations, and a BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
