Exciting Opportunity for Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality psychological care to older adults.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for working with older adults. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing psychological care, ensuring the systematic provision of specialist therapies services.

We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth. Our team prioritizes staff wellbeing and invests in training and development.

Specialist supervision and support will be provided by our Older Adults Consultant Psychologist.

Person Specification
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of understanding human problems, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Postdoctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • Formal training in supervision of other psychologists.
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills.
  • Knowledge of applied psychology and specialized psychological therapies in working with complex difficulties.
  • Involvement in local and national professional activities.
