About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Complex Needs Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care to adults with personality-based difficulties and complex trauma.

The successful candidate will be part of a leadership team that coordinates and implements direct and indirect psychological care to our client group, while also supporting the wider system that works with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective psychological interventions for adults with complex needs
  • Lead and manage a team of psychological therapists to deliver high-quality care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience of working with adults with complex needs
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
