Hospital Liaison Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospital Liaison Nurse - Alcohol Treatment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive treatment service to individuals with alcohol use problems, as well as their families and friends.
This is a full-time, permanent role that operates within the framework of our Staffordshire Community Alcohol Team. You will support individuals on their journey to recovery, improving their quality of life and fostering positive change.
Main Duties:- Provide alcohol treatment within the Staffordshire community to Service Users within the locality.
- Work to reduce unplanned alcohol-related admissions and attendances to the Hospital setting.
- Embrace the concept of recovery and demonstrate this in your clinical work.
- Evaluate evidence-based practice and ensure that your work is up-to-date and in accordance with current policy and legislation.
- Deliver training and support to Hospital staff.

Requirements:- Adhere to professional codes of conduct, including accountability, confidentiality, and commitment to high-quality service.
- Maintain the security of all records and information while adhering to Trust and Partner agencies' confidentiality policy.
- Manage a defined caseload of alcohol-dependent patients according to care plans agreed with the service user, carers, and responsible clinician.
- Provide alcohol interventions and clinical assessment within Staffordshire Hospitals and Emergency Departments.
- Proven experience in the field of Alcohol misuse.
- Developing and maintaining successful partnerships with GPs, treatment agencies, and colleagues within the community.
- Clinical risk assessment and management of vulnerable service user groups.
The salary for this position ranges from £37,338 to £44,962 per annum.
