Bariatric Specialist Nurse Opportunity

Join University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust as a Bariatric Specialist Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing bariatric surgery. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and specialized care to patients with obesity-related health issues.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and has a strong understanding of the complexities of obesity management. In this role, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our hospital offers a competitive benefits package, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a supportive work environment.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing comprehensive assessments and developing personalized care plans for patients undergoing bariatric surgery

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current NMC Adult Nurse registration
- Experience in a relevant specialty, preferably in bariatric nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
