Job Description for SEND Learning Support Worker

We are recruiting a highly motivated and experienced SEND Learning Support Worker to join our team at Career Teachers.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require additional support in a Hayes-based Ofsted-rated school.

Key Tasks:

  • Support students with special educational needs in their daily activities, encouraging independence and inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication.
  • Contribute to the creation of individualised learning plans, working closely with teachers and other support staff.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS disclosure is mandatory.

Remuneration:

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
