Psychology Placement Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology graduate or student to join our dedicated team at a fantastic Primary School in Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs and develop the skills needed for roles in educational therapy, mental health, support work, teaching, and more.
The ideal candidate will have strong academics, a passion for working with children, and previous experience with SEN/SEMH needs. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience working with non-verbal children, and previous experience working 1:1. We offer a supportive leadership team, opportunities to work alongside Counsellors, Therapists, and Psychologists, and a strong belief in helping children develop emotional resilience.
Job Responsibilities- Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
- Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
- Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
- Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
- Monitoring and recording interventions
Job Specifications
- Long-Term, Full-Time (term time only)
- £105 - £110 daily rate
- ASAP Start
