Job Title: Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team in Southend-on-Sea. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and guidance to our clinicians, working directly with children and young people with mental health needs, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior medical support and guidance to the CAMHS team
  • Work directly with children and young people with mental health needs, and their families
  • Participate in the on-call rota, with a 2% on-call supplement
  • Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
  • Work alongside a Specialty Doctor
Person Specification:
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
