This Skincare NPD role within the pivotal Product Development department will be focused on overseeing all skincare developments and collaborating on the creative conceptualization of all innovations.


As our Skincare NPD Director, you will lead the category to secure best in class innovation, fuel the NPD skincare calendar with innovative product conceptualization and be responsible for consistent skincare innovation scoping and sourcing.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Collaborating with Brand Marketing to develop strategic planning of 3-year local rolling innovation aligned with business goals.
  • Working closely with Scientific Director on ingredients and testing suitability for NPD projects - assessing risks and aligning with desired claims and approved brief.
  • Representing the product development team in all communications with marketing, sales, creative and often leadership team.
  • Delivering projects on time and within budget – escalating and problem-solving with CPO as needed.
  • Skilled at efficient process management and implementation - responsible for ensuring team is effectively working with all business systems and trackers.

Requirements:



  • Ability to delegate, oversee and lead a project.
  • Analytical – using data to drive decisions. Creative vision, commercially minded.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and inclusive management style.
  • Self-motivated, eloquent and dedicated to the brand – a positive member of Team Tilbury.
  • Experience with sales data and analysis.
  • Have a passion for and knowledge of the beauty industry – brands, products, bloggers and influencers.
