Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide personalized support to an individual with autism and learning disabilities, enabling them to participate in a range of activities and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to the individual, accompanying them on outings and engaging in activities such as walks, bowling, and arts and crafts
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Support the individual in their communication and community activities
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's support network to ensure their needs are met

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Permission to work in the UK
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and patient approach
